Well I am rested up from camp! The Theme this year at camp was "Games People Play"  I was excited about that beause I know that some people are playing the "Christian Game" Meaning that they go to church and have all the right answers, (Jesus), but they weren't believing it. Nathan Dunman, the camp speaker, he was very bold and told us like it is. One thing that he said was "if you don't know the conviction of God...the question might be 'do you know God?" In Romans 5:8b it says: "While we WERE still sinners, Christ died for us." Nate said that Paul was saying we are not sinners saved by grace, we WERE sinners saved by grace. We are holy, a saint! So some of us may say things like, wow I am looking at the wrong sites on the internet, or I'm cheating on my taxes, or I lust after something or someone. The he said "You are HOLY ! Start acting that way !" Another statement that really struck me was "There is no stagnation in life, you are either growing or dying. I've heard before that we are stagnet, but that means we're not growing, so are we dying? I'm not just talking numbers here, but spiritually. Nate said that if we were here last year and we are the same, haven't grown, then we are dying. We are just playing the game! So I ask, take a deep look at your life, are you hungry for His word, have you grown, is your relationship closer to God, or are you where you were a year ago, five years ago? You may be dying, if you feel like this might be you, it's not to late.... get into Sunday School, get into a daily devotion, or join the bible studies at church, get involved in missions. Get excited about God!! His Word is so powerful and there is so much to learn. Don't just sit there and die, seek Jesus!
